Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is seeking a dedicated Critical Care Nurse to provide direct, evidence-based care for acutely ill patients in a high-tech monitoring environment.

You will assess patients, operate critical care equipment, coordinate with physicians, and ensure timely documentation. The role features a day shift, 24 hours per week, with opportunities for career ladder advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Previous nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized care to acutely and critically ill patients.
• Assess patient condition and perform diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and adjust equipment; assist doctors with procedures.
• Record and interpret data from monitors and assessments.
