MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an outpatient Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. The role includes obstetric care, contraception services, and comprehensive exams.

You will join a nonprofit health system with a strong network of hospitals and clinics in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Expect regular hours, competitive base salary, and an incentive plan with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Active California NP or PA license
• BLS certification
• Board certification in Women’s Health preferred
• 1+ year Women’s Health or related NP/PA experience; obstetrics experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR highly preferred

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations
• Provide contraception services (IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout pregnancy
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Outpatient-based care with no after-hours calls
• Work hours 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
