Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily patient care activities, workflow, and staffing to ensure safe unit operations
• Oversee patient flow, resource allocation, and staffing adjustments to support procedures
• Apply nursing process—assessing patients, implementing care plans, and evaluating outcomes
• Promote patient safety, quality, and efficiency, including participating in patient rounding
• Coordinate communication across patients, families, physicians, and departments
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff through orientation, training, and day-to-day support
• Assist with hiring support, employee relations, and team engagement
• Manage staffing and scheduling to maintain efficiency and productivity
• Monitor quality of care and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
