Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a clinically skilled RN for the Memorial Hospital Central site in Colorado Springs. This on-site, nights-only PRN role requires ICU/PCU experience and active RN licensure, with ACLS and BLS certificates in-hand before start.

The nurse will deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold RN licensure.
• At least 6 months of ICU or PCU RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross and valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a high-acuity unit using the nursing process.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Promote wellness, patient-centered care, and evidence-based practice.
• Precept new staff and students as needed to support orienting clinicians.
