Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or state board approved program, if <3 years experience.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months of RN experience.
• ACLS and either PALS or ENPC on hire; TNCC/ATCN and PALS/ENPC within 1 year of hire.
• RN with BLS and related ACLS/PALS/ENPC credentials in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department up to level 1 trauma.
• Utilize the nursing process with a multidisciplinary approach.
• Support clinical orientation and precept new staff and learners.
