Job summary

Scripps Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU Float Pool at La Jolla. You will provide direct patient care, assess needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate patient outcomes.

This role requires floating to multiple units across Scripps La Jolla and Scripps Green, including PCU, DOU, Tele, Oncology and more. The position offers 12-hour day shifts with a 48 hours per 2-week schedule and is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $2,000.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of recent RN experience in an adult ICU.
• California Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification.
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of progress.
• Float to Scripps Memorial La Jolla and Scripps Green Hospital and collaborate with the care team.
• Float to PCU, DOU, Tele, Oncology, MS and other areas as needed.
