Job summary

Yale New Haven Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care within the Connecticut healthcare system. The RN will practice within the scope of the CT Nurse Practice Act, collaborating with the care team to achieve quality outcomes.

Position requires CT RN licensure, BSN preferred, and current BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month. The role includes floating among ICUs to support staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire.
• Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient-centered nursing care following ANA standards.
• Coordinate care with patients, families and health care team.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• This position will float among several ICUs as needed.
