Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks an experienced ICU nurse to join the Float Pool at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. The role involves providing critical care to diverse patients, mentoring staff, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans from admission through discharge.

Requirements include 3 years of ICU nursing, PA RN license or eNLC eligibility, CPR and ACLS, and required clearances. This is a full-time weekend rotation with orientation as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years acute care nursing experience required in ICU.
• Current State RN licensure in PA or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical assessment skills and care planning skills.
• Provides safe and effective care for the age population served.
• Directs and manages patient care delivery by the team.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team for the plan from admission to discharge.
• Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education.
