Job summary

Essentia Health’s St. Marys Medical Center in Duluth, MN seeks an ICU/CCU Registered Nurse for a 0.75 FTE float pool position in Critical Care.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care, exercise professional autonomy, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and continuously evaluate care plans on 12-hour Day/Night rotations with every third weekend. Current ICU RN with at least 9 months of recent experience, active RN licensure in Minnesota, and BCLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current ICU RN with a minimum of 9 months’ experience or within the last year as an ICU RN (1248 hours) including vasoactive meds, MV, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
• BCLS certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care that is holistic and patient-centered.
• Exercise professional autonomy by making informed nursing decisions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess concerns and integrate data.
• Implement and evaluate care plans and adjust as needed.
