Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a competent registered nurse for night shifts in a high-acuity unit at the Lakeland facility. You will deliver advanced patient care, monitor complex systems, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, and specialized certifications (ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC) as applicable, with ECMO duties as needed. On-site facility with comprehensive benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with RN licensure.
• 1 year experience required unless AVP level approval.
• Maintains current RN license (state-specific or multistate) and BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC required for certain areas; NRP required for NICU.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement for complex patient care.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and interprets monitors.
• Responds to life-saving situations according to standards.
• Develops individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Documents care in the chart with accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Acts as patient and family advocate.
• Performs duties as ECMO specialist when assigned.
• Maintains safe, clean work area and participates in staff development.
• Coordinates care and delegates tasks to the team.
