Job summary

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL, is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse for the ICU. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a high-acuity environment and support a collaborative team dedicated to safety and excellence.

Responsibilities include assessing and planning care, educating patients and families, documenting findings, and administering medications per orders. Florida RN licensure and BLS/ACLS with NIHSS readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS, NIHSS and BLS certifications required within specified timelines.
• Experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for critically ill patients.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records, including tests and results.
• Administer medications according to physician orders.
