Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse for its ICU. You will deliver expert clinical care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity setting and participate in team-based decisions shaping patient outcomes and nursing practice.

The role requires Florida RN licensure (compact accepted), a Nursing Diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), and current BLS with ACLS/NIHSS required within stated timelines. Prior acute care experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or compact license (within 60 days of hire).
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Prior experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of critically ill patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records including tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
