Job summary

The Health Care District of Palm Beach County is seeking an experienced ICU nurse to deliver safe, high‑quality care in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.

Required qualifications include an established nursing degree, Florida RN licensure, BLS and ACLS; CCRN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's, Bachelor's, or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• Two to four years of critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care in the ICU for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and reassess patient care with other team members.
• Monitor patient status, report variances, and document care and medications.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs CNAs and monitor techs as appropriate.
