Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical ICU with night shifts. The role involves direct patient care for critically ill adults, with 36 scheduled hours per week on Night shift in the MICU 3BC.

Requirements include MA RN licensure, BSN preferred for new grads, and minimum 1 year of CCU nursing experience. ACLS/CCRN are preferred. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and ensure safe patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with MA RN registration; BSN preferred for new grads.
• Minimum 1 year of current Critical Care nursing experience.
• ACLS and CCRN certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Maintain continuity through clear communication with the team.
• Develop discharge plans using appropriate resources and referrals.
• Document care per nursing standards and ensure patient safety.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures safely.
