Board-certified NP/PA with Alabama licensure eligibility is required, with ICU experience preferred. BLS/ACLS certifications are mandatory; relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of ACNP/AGACNP or PA program.
• Board certification required.
• Eligibility for Alabama licensure.
• ICU/critical care background preferred; new graduates with ICU RN experience considered for NP roles.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill adult ICU patients.
• Conduct admissions, daily rounds, and manage complex medical cases.
• Perform procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, and intubations, as credentialed.
• Collaborate effectively with intensivists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and specialists.
• Engage in multidisciplinary care planning and quality improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system.
