Collaborate with intensivists and nursing staff, participate in care planning and quality improvement, and document meticulously in the EMR. This direct-hire opportunity includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (ACNP/AGACNP preferred) or Physician Assistant program.
• Board certification is required.
• Eligibility for Alabama licensure.
• ICU or critical care experience preferred; new grads with ICU RN background may be considered for NP roles.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill adult ICU patients.
• Conduct admissions, daily rounds, and manage complex medical cases.
• Perform procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, and intubations, as credentialed.
• Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and specialists.
• Engage in multidisciplinary care planning and quality improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system.
