Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the ICUCritical Care team in New Jersey. The NP will manage high-acuity adult patients in a multidisciplinary ICU setting, working with intensivists, hospitalists, residents, and fellows to deliver direct patient care.

The role demands performing exams, documenting data, ordering tests, and prescribing treatments while coordinating with the health care team. Must maintain HIPAA compliance and complete CME/CEU requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's in Nursing with ACNP or AGACNP focus.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• NJ Advanced Practice Nurse License and NJ RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-acuity adult patients in a multidisciplinary ICU.
• Collaborate with intensivists, ICU hospitalists, residents, fellows, and other APPs.
• Perform exams, document data, and order/interpret labs and imaging as needed.
• Prescribe interventions and medications and coordinate care with the health team.
