Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: completion of a nursing assistant or patient care tech program.
• Experience: No experience required.
• In lieu of school verification CNA certification acceptable at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including turning and repositioning.
• Perform data collection: vital signs and input/output; document in medical record.
• Notify RN of patient status changes and observations.
• Provide non-pharmacological comfort measures.
• Transport patients and respond to call lights.
• Assist with basic dressings and perineal care as delegated by RN.
• Maintain neat, clean patient environment.
