Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing with five (5) years of RN experience in a high-acuity ICU in lieu of BSN
• CA Registered Nurse license required
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Transitional RN Program: two years of experience in telemetry/step-down critical care unit optional if other qualifications met

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU
• Coordinate interprofessional care with the health care team
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor interventions and ensure timely follow-up
• Document care measures accurately in EMR
• Provide education to patients and families about conditions and medications
• Support preceptorship and mentorship within ICU
