Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle during shifts. The role includes providing clinical care as census dictates and communicating effectively with leadership and staff to resolve issues.

Qualified candidates will have Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS and PALS, NRP and specialty certifications as required, with 1 year of hospital experience and a preferred Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting Required.
• 2 years or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during his/her shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s). Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
