Job summary

WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver nursing care using the nursing process in an inpatient setting. The role requires competent clinical knowledge, independent judgement, and leadership to guide care provided by self and team, with a focus on patient-centered outcomes.

The CAPE program supports professional development through levels and competencies; nurses at levels 1–6 may precept and assume charge duties.

Qualifications

• Active registered nurse license in state of practice or multi-state license via eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes patient diagnoses, problems, and goals with the care team.
• Serves as a resource for patient and family education.
• Coordinates with interprofessional team to manage changing priorities.
• Provides safe, high-quality, patient-centered care as an independent team member.
