Job summary

The Staff Pad partners with a leading healthcare system in Wisconsin to hire Registered Nurses for ICU, Critical Care and Step-Down/Progressive Care units. These roles offer full-time, part-time and PRN opportunities with multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Wisconsin or eligible through a compact license.
• Completion of TNCC and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred depending on department.
• 3+ years RN experience in high-acuity settings for experienced nurses.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to high-acuity patients.
• Care for patients with drips, chest tubes, central lines and other specialized interventions.
• Continuously assess patients and recognize changes in clinical condition.
• Manage admissions, discharges and patient transfers.
• Educate patients and families and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
