Job summary

TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Special Care Units, ICU & CCU on a 7P-7A schedule. You will plan, implement and evaluate patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations, in collaboration with physicians and hospital multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include monitoring, medication administration, critical care interventions, patient and family education, and coordination of care to ensure timely, efficient delivery of services

Qualifications

• Holds an active Registered Nurse license and is eligible to practice in Kentucky.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS Certification to be completed by end of orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of patient populations served (pediatric/adult/geriatrics) and provides direct patient care.
• Utilizes monitors and equipment and responds in emergencies as part of the Code Blue team.
• Coordinates nursing care, administers medications and IV therapies, and documents care plans and progress.
