Job summary

Odessa Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for ICU/CCU on days. This full-time, on-site role supports critical cardiac patients, with 12-hour day shifts (7am-7pm) and a $10,000 sign-on bonus with an 18-month commitment. Relocation assistance is available.

The RN will monitor vitals, administer meds, perform life support as needed, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans. Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of ICU experience required.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/CCU experience.
• Able to rapidly assess patient conditions and make timely clinical decisions.
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring and life-support techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs (ECG, BP, SpO2) and respond to changes promptly.
• Administer complex cardiac medications per physician orders.
• Perform advanced life support procedures such as CPR and defibrillation.
• Interpret invasive hemodynamic data and manage care plans.
• Educate patients and families about heart conditions and care.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families in critical care.
