Job summary

Holy Family Hospital in Massachusetts is seeking a Critical Care Nurse (ICU/CCU) for 24-hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am. You will provide care to acutely and critically ill patients in a high-technology environment, with responsibilities for monitoring, medication administration, and patient/family support.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program, current Massachusetts RN license, BCLS and ACLS, and ENPC or PALS certification (TNCC and CCRN preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Massachusetts nursing license is required.
• BCLS and ACLS are required.
• ENPC or PALS required; TNCC and CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care based on standards of care, standards of practice, protocols, and established policies.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and interprets/records cardiac rhythms and other displays.
• Prioritizes patient care and seeks assistance as needed from resources or reassigns staff.
• Responds to life-saving situations per nursing standards and protocol.
• Documents data, interventions and patient responses accurately.

Education

Massachusetts nursing license

ACLS certified

ENPC or PALS certified
