Job summary

Corewell Health in Troy, MI seeks an APP Manager to oversee reporting APPs and APP supervisors, directing staffing, policy adherence and clinical work within top of scope. You will coordinate with leadership to ensure quality, compliance and service line goals.

The position is 50% administrative and 50% clinical, with responsibility for recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, FPPE/OPPE, CE/CME policy and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current PA licensure in Michigan with active certification.
• Graduate of ARC-PA accredited PA program and NCCPA certified.
• Current DEA registration and Michigan controlled substances license.
• BLS (ACLS may be required) and leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years APP clinical experience in a relevant specialty.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee APPs and APP Supervisors, including staffing and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with leadership on recruitment, onboarding and FPPE/OPPE.
• Ensure financial integrity and monitor billing and productivity metrics.
• Develop and implement CE/CME policy within the department.
• Lead service‑line improvements and interdepartmental communications.
• Provide clinical coverage as needed and support APP education.

Education

Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Michigan

ARC-PA accredited PA program

Certification by NCCPA

Michigan Controlled Substance License

DEA registration

BLS (ACLS may be required)

5 years APP clinical experience

2 years leadership experience
