Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the ICU team. The APP will perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose, order and interpret tests, and manage treatment plans for critically ill patients, working autonomously and in collaboration with the ICU physicians.

Minimum qualifications include an APRN or PA degree, current Georgia licenses, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing as Advanced Practice Nurse or Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant.
• Two years or more of critical care nurse experience or two years as a PA.
• Current Georgia RN license for NPs and current Georgia APRN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, orders and interprets tests.
• Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
• Direct care for critically ill patients as part of the ICU team.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare professionals to manage patient care.
