Job summary

ICC Healthcare and HCA Florida North Florida Hospital seek an NP/PA to join a busy ICU program in Gainesville, FL. Join a team with experienced MDs and APPs in MSICU and CVICU, performing own procedures and managing vents.

Requirements include ACNP or PA credentials, ICU experience, full-time availability, and a 12-hour shift pattern with day/night blocks. Strong collaboration in a high-acuity setting is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be ACNP trained or PA with ICU experience.
• Experienced ICU APP candidates preferred.
• Full-time, 12-hour shifts (days and nights).
• Team includes 2 MDs and 2 APPs during the day; 1 MD and 1 APP at night.
• Average daily census 8–12 patients.

Responsibilities

• APPs perform their own procedures including arterial lines, central lines, intubations and vent management.
• Work in MSICU and CVICU within a busy, high-acuity program.
• Collaborate with residents in the ICU and CCU teams.
