Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital and ICC Healthcare are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their ICU team in Trinity, Florida. This role supports the ICU with arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, bronchs, intubation and vent management.

The position offers a W2 employed opportunity, 12-hour day shifts, and a schedule of 15 shifts per month, with comprehensive benefits, CME time, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Must be ACNP trained or PA; this position cannot accept any other NP specialties.
• Experienced ICU APP candidates preferred.
• 15 shifts per month, Day shift only

Responsibilities

• APPs perform their own procedures including arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, bronchoscopies, intubation and vent management.
• Support the ICU team with critical care protocols and patient management.
• Collaborate with physicians and other APPs to provide high-quality care in a busy ICU setting.

• Average Daily Census: 8-10 patients
• 19-bed Med/Surg ICU with mandatory Intensivist consults
• 1 MD and 1 APP during the day, 1 MD at night
