ICC Healthcare and HCA Florida North Florida Hospital seek an NP/PA to join a busy ICU program in Gainesville, FL. The role involves independent procedures (arterial lines, central lines, intubations, vent management) within a high-acuity MSICU/CVICU setting, with a blend of day and night shifts.

The ideal candidate is ACNP trained or PA with ICU APP experience, capable of handling 8–12 census patients and collaborating with 2 MDs/2 APPs by day and 1 MD/1 APP at night.

Qualifications

• Must be ACNP trained or PA; this position cannot accept any other NP specialties.
• Experienced ICU APP candidates highly desired
• 12 hour shifts, mix of days and nights
• 2 MDs and 2 APPs during the day, 1 MD and 1 APP at night
• Average Daily Census: 8–12 patients
• APPs perform their own procedures including arterial lines, central lines, intubations and vent management
• Busy program with high acuity patient population covering MSICU and CVICU
• ACGME Residency Program with residents rotating through ICU and APP Critical Care Fellowship
