Job summary

Nidec is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician with hands-on expertise in ICT test fixtures and Keysight/Agilent 3070 systems. You will perform fixture changes, maintenance, and diagnostic work to keep test platforms reliable.

You will also modify test routines in BT-Basic, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure quality compliance before releases, in a second-shift, United States facility.

Qualifications

• Experience with ICT test fixtures and 3070 systems.
• Hands-on maintenance including pin/socket repair.
• Ability to solder through-hole and SMT components.
• Proactive troubleshooting of electrical paths and shorts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ICT test fixtures and 3070 hardware on production lines.
• Perform test fixture change-overs as needed by production.
• Repair fixtures, pins, sockets, and related hardware components.
• Maintain 3070 tester hardware; perform preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and replace faulty system cards using diagnostics.
• Verify fixture health and test routine integrity.
• Update and debug test routines in BT-Basic.
• Adjust timings and guard ratios to reduce false failures.
• Support quality validation before releasing updates.
