The project aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of the National Secretariat for Civil Protection and Defense (SEDEC), enhancing its ability to implement the National Civil Protection and Defense Plan, improve the national legal and financial framework, analyze disaster risks, strengthen governance for resilient infrastructure, and monitor post-disaster recovery works.

The “Strengthening Civil Defense: A Strategy for Resilience” project adopts a structured planning approach with clear, sequential implementation stages, aiming to ensure the effectiveness of actions and the achievement of expected results.
