HDR is seeking a full-time candidate in Kansas City, MO, to evaluate low voltage technology systems and contribute to construction document preparation. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong commitment to the employee-owned culture. Familiarity with MS Visio, Autodesk, and Bluebeam Revu is preferred, alongside certifications like EIT or RCDD.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and apply state‑of‑the‑art low voltage technology systems, techniques, procedures, designs and modifications.
• Understand ICT systems, including communications structured cabling, outside plant systems and fiber‑optic systems.
• Understand security systems, including video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
• Assist in preparation of construction documents and specifications.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT, PSP, and/or RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) certification is helpful.
• Familiarity with MS Visio, Autodesk, and Bluebeam Revu.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee‑owned culture.
