Job summary

RED ENGINEERING DESIGN LIMITED is seeking an ICT & Security Design Engineer to work from London, Newcastle or Bicester. You will design security and ICT infrastructure, develop 2D CAD drawings and 3D Revits in coordination with the BIM team, and support project delivery across multiple offices.

The role requires 2+ years in security/ICT design with strong CAD/BIM skills, plus experience in risk assessments and interfacing with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Security & ICT infrastructure design or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Experience in data cabling, IT/IP networks and security infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit; BIM coordination and clash detection.

Responsibilities

• Produce security and ICT infrastructure design packages (reports, drawings, schematics, specs).
• Carry out Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Assessments for client projects.
• Advise on client security planning and requirements.
• Develop 2D CAD drawings and 3D Revit models with BIM team.
• Coordinate design with electrical and mechanical disciplines; ensure compliance with standards.
• Present at technical meetings and deliver project reports to management and clients.
