Job summary

Americom, a Crestone Services Group company, seeks an ICT Estimator - ISP Construction to prepare accurate estimates for low-voltage and ISP projects. You will work with sales, project management, and operations to ensure proposals are complete, compliant, competitive, and aligned with margins.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of estimating experience, strong analytical and numerical skills, and proficiency with estimating and digital takeoff software. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant estimating experience, preferably ICT, low-voltage, or technology infrastructure.
• Proficiency with estimating and digital takeoff software.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage estimating activities for ICT/low-voltage projects.
• Review bid opportunities for scope, risk, contract requirements, and profitability.
• Develop detailed labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor estimates.
• Ensure estimates align with historical job cost data and margin targets.
• Support consistent estimating methods, processes, and templates.
• Review plans and bid documents, develop takeoffs, assess installation and labor requirements, and identify scope or specification issues.
• Prepare clear, complete proposals with scope, pricing, exclusions, assumptions, and required compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with sales, project management, operations, and leadership to validate scope, pricing, and proposal accuracy.
• Ensure proposals meet RFP/RFI/RFQ and customer specifications.
• Establish pricing strategies aligned with company objectives and market conditions.
• Maintain vendor pricing, labor rates, and cost databases.
• Support value engineering to improve competitiveness while protecting margins.
• Assist leadership with bid/no-bid analysis and risk assessment.
• Partner with sales, project management, and operations for smooth handoff from award to execution.
• Provide input on plans/specifications and flag scope gaps or risks.
• Use post-award results to improve estimating accuracy and margins.
• Support creation of updated As-Builts and closeout documentation.
