Responsibilities
  • Design and draft ICT floor plans, including structured cabling, pathways, telecommunications rooms, audio‑visual, public address, access control, video surveillance, intercom, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Prepare CSI Division 27 and 28 written specifications.
  • Coordinate Revit models and backgrounds with architects and other disciplines.
  • Attend and contribute to internal team, discipline, and project meetings.
  • Foster client relationships and collaborate with design team members.
  • Research technical product information.
  • Conduct configuration and commissioning of systems to ensure 100% functionality.
  • Provide support to the team, develop tools, improve processes, and share technical knowledge.
  • Ensure all client and design team due dates, submission dates, and completion dates are met.
  • Perform job‑site inspections to determine existing conditions, assess progress by contractors, and compile punch lists.
  • Track multiple projects, clients, and team member requests with excellent follow‑up to keep promises.
  • Additional tasks may include riser diagrams, report writing, submittal review, RFI responses, and attending client meetings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in information, communication, and technology system design.
  • Fluency with Revit design software.
  • Ability to learn the application of relevant codes.
  • Applicable ICT certifications are preferred; RCDD certification is preferred or obtainable within five years.
