Job summary

HED is seeking an ICT Level Engineer to design and coordinate information and communication technology systems on complex projects. You will operate with limited guidance, produce designs and calculations, manage Revit models, and support cross-disciplinary coordination.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, mentoring junior staff, and participating in client meetings and proposal inputs within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• RCDD certification required.
• 2–5 years of ICT or low-voltage design experience within the AEC industry.
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA/TIA, NEC, and other applicable telecommunications standards.
• Proficiency in Revit with experience producing and coordinating low-voltage design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop ICT system designs for complex projects, producing calculations and documentation with limited supervision.
• Manage Revit models and low-voltage system views to support project deliverables.
• Perform and validate calculations for cabling distances, voltage drops, and equipment loads, applying results to project design decisions.
• Resolve cross-discipline coordination issues in collaboration with architects, structural, and civil engineers.
• Support site visits, field reports, punch lists, and construction administration activities.
• Contribute to QA/QC processes by reviewing design accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Mentor junior staff on project tasks and workflows, with guidance from senior engineers.
• Participate in technical meetings and client discussions, supporting senior staff in presentations.
• Assist in proposal preparation and scoping efforts by providing technical input.
