Job summary

HED is seeking an ICT Engineer - Mission Critical to contribute advanced ICT design and coordination on complex projects. The role involves developing system designs, managing Revit models for low-voltage systems, and supporting client communications, with mentorship from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification required.
• 2–5 years of ICT or low-voltage systems design experience in the AEC industry.
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA/TIA, NEC, and other telecom standards.
• Proficiency in Revit for low-voltage design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop ICT system designs for complex projects with calculations and documentation.
• Manage Revit models and low-voltage system views to support deliverables.
• Perform calculations for cabling distances, voltage drops, and equipment loads.
• Resolve cross-discipline coordination with architects, structural, and civil engineers.
• Support site visits, field reports, punch lists, and construction administration activities.
• Contribute to QA/QC processes by reviewing design accuracy and standards.
• Mentor junior staff and support senior engineers.
• Participate in technical meetings and client discussions.
• Assist in proposal preparation and scoping with technical input.
