Job summary

Bechtel's Control and Automation Team (CAT) Engineer role in Houston focuses on specification, design, development, and testing of Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) or its subsystems. You will collaborate with instrument, electrical, mechanical, and process engineers to identify control and safety requirements and interfaces.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (Control Systems or Process Control) or equivalent.
• 15+ years ICSS experience for large-scale LNG, energy, or chemical projects.
• Experience leading engineering teams on ICSS projects.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates detailed automation phases for control systems on a project.
• Oversees ICSS within the project team and ensures compliance with procedures.
• Designs ICSS scope including large-scale DCS, SIS, FGS, and related data networks.
