Job summary

Beckhoff Automation USA is seeking a knowledgeable ICS/OT cybersecurity and OS specialist to act as the local expert for industrial control systems security. The role involves advising on cybersecurity standards, OS hardening, and (secondary) container technology, while collaborating with sales, application engineers, and Beckhoff’s global cybersecurity team.

The position blends pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities, traveling up to 20–25% to engage with OEMs, integrators, and large end-user

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in ICS/OT environments.
• Ability to explain certificates and encryption concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience configuring OS hardening and firewall rules on Linux/Windows.

Responsibilities

• Advise on cybersecurity standards and OS security for ICS/OT environments.
• Support security questionnaires, RFP/RFI sections, and incident response procedures.
• Collaborate with sales, AEs, and global cybersecurity team to ensure consistent messaging.
