Job summary

ASH Hotels is seeking a charismatic bartender for Hotel Ulysses in Baltimore. You will guide guests through the beverage and dining experience, demonstrate knowledge of drinks, and maintain a polished appearance.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with team members to ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction. The role emphasizes hospitality, brand standards, and proactive guest engagement, with opportunities for growth within ASH NYC and Hotel Ulysses.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills and an ability to handle money and give correct change.
• Advanced knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and familiarity with standard drink recipes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Has exceptional communication skills - there is no such thing as over-communicating.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language.
• Ensures guests feel appreciated through your actions.
• Works as a team with all personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient service.
• Keeps all areas cleaned and stocked to Brand standards.
• Mixes, garnishes, and serves drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes.
• Maintains attractive display of bottles and glasses.
• Assists in maintaining tables throughout the outlet.
• Performs side work to ensure smooth service.
