Job Overview

Expeditor – ensures the quality and proper presentation of food and maintains the flow between the kitchen and dining room. Reports to the Food and Beverage Manager. Located: Wildwood, NJ 08260.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient flow of orders from waiters to the kitchen.
• Assist in the final preparation of dishes; inspect every plate to confirm proper garnishing and that dishes are free of smudges and spills before delivery to the guest.
• Direct kitchen staff on what orders to produce or communicate with waitstaff as to where dishes need to be delivered.
• Deliver orders, as needed, to maintain fast service.
• Complete daily/weekly cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain cooking line in a clean, sanitary and safe manner.
• Treat all guests in a manner that ensures their complete satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations.
• Perform other duties as directed.
• Attend weekly Aloha Culture Meetings.
