Job summary

ICONA Golden Inn LLC in Avalon, NJ is seeking a HousePerson to support the housekeeping team and ensure public areas and grounds are clean and debris-free. The role provides essential support to Room Attendants and Laundry Attendants.

The candidate will perform rounds removing soiled linen, transporting laundry, accepting deliveries, and maintaining supply closets. Must be able to stand, lift up to 75 lbs, and work nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Housekeeping with removal of soiled linen and trash from guest rooms; perform rounds throughout the day.
• Transport soiled linen to Laundry and sort in designated containers.
• Receive deliveries for Housekeeping and Laundry and place in proper storage areas.
• Remove trash from Guest Rooms and place in appropriate containers.
• Empty and clean trash containers and restock guest amenities.

Summary/Objective

TheHousePersonis responsible forensuring that all grounds and public areas are clean and free of debris.Provides support for the RoomAttendantsand Laundry Attendants.

Essential Functions

• Assist Housekeeping with the removal of soiled linen and trash from guest rooms; continuous rounds of removal from assigned rooms throughout the day.
• Transport soiled linen to Laundry and sort in specified containers.
• Accept deliveries for Housekeeping and Laundry andputdeliveryinnproper storage areas.
• Remove trash collected byRoom Attendant’sand put intoproper containers.
• Empty and clean trash containers.
• Refill the par stock of guest amenities and paper products in theHousekeepingclosets.
• Operate rug cleaning machine in hallways and guest rooms.
• Sweep balconies, wipe chairs, cleanwindows.
• Vacuum and clean stairwells and elevator areas.
• Assist Housekeeping with heavy lifting when needed.
• Respond to Front Desk whenrequested.
• Report any maintenance issuesimmediatelyto Facilities, including all furniture,fittingsand equipment.
• All guests must be treated in a manner to ensuretheir completesatisfaction. Always strive to exceed guests’ expectations.
• Performs other duties as directed.
