Job summary

Rappahannock Area Community Services Board seeks a dedicated professional to assist the Manager in operating an Intermediate Care Facility serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities on a 24/7 basis. The role requires hands-on care, supervision of residential staff, and adherence to regulatory standards.

You will supervise staff, monitor licensure compliance, assist with medication administration, coordinate with families, and maintain required records and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences and considerable experience in residential treatment programs for intellectually disabled/developmentally disabled adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training, scheduling, supervising and evaluating residential staff.
• Assist in monitoring programs and facilities for compliance with licensure and funding requirements.
• Provide direct care and assist residents with activities of daily living, transportation, medication administration, meals, and community activities.
• Observe residents, monitor needs and progress toward goals, and collaborate on service plans with staff and families.
• Record progress notes and maintain charts, forms and reports; participate in plan meetings and reviews.
• Coordinate resident care and liaise with families, guardians, and service providers; supervise facility operations and safety.
