Job summary

South Suburban Park & Recreation District is seeking a Facility Maintenance Lead - Ice to supervise custodial/janitorial/zamboni staff under the Ice & Facility Maintenance Supervisor. You will oversee maintenance, safety, and quick response repairs for the arena, ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Associate's Degree in Building and Custodial Maintenance or related field.
• Electrical, plumbing, HVAC and/or swimming pool maintenance experience preferred.
• Previous personnel leadership/supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ice maintenance staff, custodial services, preventative maintenance, and repair of assigned facility with a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, staff productivity, and cleanliness.
• Hires, supervises, schedules, and evaluates assigned staff; provides training; conducts performance evaluations and addresses deficiencies.
• Plans, assigns and directs custodial and preventative maintenance, special projects, off-season crews and work orders.
