Grace Adventures seeks an energetic cafe/ice cream shop attendant to serve guests and uphold a standard of excellence at Dunes Harbor Campground. You will engage with visitors, manage sales, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.

This role emphasizes friendly guest interaction, reliability, and the ability to work evenings and weekends in a campground setting. Training provided on shop procedures and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interact well with guests and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable, detail oriented and able to balance cash handling.
• Must have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Inventory
• Restock and reset shop daily after each evening closing
• Balance cash drawer each evening
• Assist with display items on walls and/or counters in an attractive way
• Have an understanding of products offered in the ice cream shop
• Take orders and run the cash register
• Restock products as needed
• Maintain the shop in a clean and neat condition; always be in a ready state
• Maintain neat and professional appearance in compliance with Dunes Harbor’s dress code
• Handle money and make change correctly
• Obey all policies and rules
• All other duties as assigned

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Fulfill the ministry of Grace Adventures and demonstrate the foot washing philosophy by serving guests while maintaining a standard of excellence in the campground ice cream shop. This person must be friendly and engaging towards guests.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain Inventory
• Restock and reset shop daily after each evening closing
• Balance cash drawer each evening
• Assist with display items on walls and/or counters in an attractive way
• Have an understanding of products offered in the ice cream shop
• Ability to take orders and run the cash register
• Restock products as needed
• Maintain the shop in a clean and neat condition; always be in a ready state
• Maintain neat and professional appearance in compliance with Dunes Harbor’s dress code
• Handle money and make change correctly
• Obey all policies and rules
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum age: 14
• Have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Ability to interact well with others
• Work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail
• Is willing to have a flexible schedule (evenings and weekends)
• Good health and stamina is required to implement campground programming. This will involve long hours and lifting at times.
