Job summary

The Ice Cream Specialist at United Dairy Farmers provides outstanding service by following the Hi Five Guest Experience. You will make hand-dipped cones, shakes, and malts, and handle food service items for guests while ensuring safe, efficient operations during your shift.

Part-time schedule (25 hours or less per week) with 1st–3rd shifts; must be at least 16 years old. The role emphasizes accurate transactions and friendly, attentive guest care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old to work at United Dairy Farmers.
• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment and read price books.
• Ability to tolerate temperature extremes (as low as –30°F for short periods).

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience; greet guests warmly and ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare shakes, malts, cones, ice cream and food service items for guests.
• Operate POS system and gas console accurately and handle transactions.
• Keep shelves and dip cabinet stocked and presentable; monitor product freshness.
• Assist with maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of store and parking lot.
