Sea Turtle Scoops at Dune House Hotel & Spa seeks an Ice Cream Specialist to warmly serve guests, scoop ice cream, and prepare beverages. You will deliver consistent service, greet guests, and operate the POS with accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic food-handling know-how, and excellent communication. Prior customer service helps, and we offer a benefits-rich hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service, retail, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of food handling and sanitation practices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Team oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, scoop, and serve ice cream, beverages, and related menu items in accordance with established standards and recipes.
• Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner, take orders accurately, and provide an engaging customer experience.
• Operate point of sale system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment, and service counters in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Restock supplies, ingredients, and merchandise as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, and local health regulations.
• Monitor product quality and report any issues to management.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Respond to guest questions, concerns, and feedback to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Develops enthusiastically satisfied customers all the time.
• Provides quality frozen treats consistently for all customers.
• Maintains quality shop operations.
• Contributes to shop profitability.
• Takes responsibility to learn all aspects of the Ice Cream Scooper position
• All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

• Repetitive scooping motion; good hand and wrist mobility required.
• Mobility - regularly moves all around the ice cream shop. Continuous standing.

Environment

• Primarily indoor work with frequent exposure to cold temperatures. Physically active role involving continuous standing and frequent use of hands.
