Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a Project Team Lead to drive capital projects across our dairy manufacturing sites in St Albans and Waterbury. You will own end-to-end delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget results while upholding safety, quality and sustainability standards.

The role requires a strong background in industrial or capital projects within food/dairy, with 5+ years of experience and knowledge of dairy processing systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing industrial or capital projects in food or dairy manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management preferred or related field.
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies, PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of industrial capex projects at St Albans and Waterbury sites.
• Coordinate scope, budgeting, scheduling, and resources across engineering, operations, quality and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regs, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect timelines and costs.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices and new technologies.

The Role

We are seeking a Project Team Lead to lead and execute capital projects within our dairy manufacturing operations. This role is critical for the E2E design and delivery of the capex projects in the St Albans and Waterbury sites related to the overall site and global agenda. The team leader is a crucial part of ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end execution of industrial projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, quality, and procurement teams to ensure seamless project integration.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and cost targets.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and efficiency in project delivery, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management preferred, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing industrial or capital projects in food or dairy manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of dairy processing systems, utilities, and plant infrastructure.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (PMP certification is a plus).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

Pay:

The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000. The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC) takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus:

This position is bonus eligible.
