Job summary

Hudsonville Ice Cream in Holland, MI is seeking a Technical Operator for the 3rd shift. You will operate and troubleshoot automated and manual equipment, handle ingredients, batch ice cream, fill, palletize, and support sanitation to meet safety and quality standards.

You will work with maintenance and leadership, follow GMPs, complete production documents, and uphold The Hudsonville Way with teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing or food production experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Operate freezing, filling, and novelty production equipment.
• Assist with ingredient handling, batching, and palletizing.
• Follow GMPs, allergen control, and food safety procedures.
• Complete production, quality, and sanitation documentation.
• Perform CIP and sanitation tasks; maintain clean work areas.
• Collaborate with maintenance to resolve equipment issues.
• Support cross-training and teamwork across shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
